UKACM 2021 Conference

Loughborough University - online

The Department of Mathematical Sciences of Loughborough University are proud to host the 2021 Online Annual Conference of the UK Association for Computational Mechanics from 14th to 16th April 2021.

The conference provides a forum to present recent advances in computational mechanics (solid and structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, gas, bioengineering, geomechanics, electromagnetics, multi-physics, mesh generation, etc) with a particular emphasis on interdisciplinary aspects.

The UKACM 2021 Conference proceedings have been published here.

Plenary lectures at the conference will be delivered by the following distinguished researchers:

Paola F. Antonietti, Politecnico di Milano

Elías Cueto, Universidad de Zaragoza

Joaquim Peiró, Imperial College London

Scientific programme

The conference will begin in the early afternoon on Wednesday 14th April and finish in the afternoon on Friday 16th April.

The programme of the School on Advanced Topics in Computational Mechanics is available here.

The programme of the conference with links to submitted short abstracts can be found here.

A printable version of the programme can be downloaded here.

The conference is supported by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) and by the London Mathematical Society (LMS).
